The last time we came home from Destin we took 331 to US84 near Opp, Al. Then west on US84 to US31/84 at Old Town, Al. Then west on US31/84 to I65. North on I65 to I24 at Nashville. I25 to I57 in Il. I57 to I64 and on to St. Louis. I think it was about 20 miles longer than the route you mentioned. We stopped at Birmingham South Campground near Pelham, Al. and at Clarksville RV Park & Campground near Clarksville, Tn.
