Statesville East / I-40 Winston Salem KOA (old midway)

Has anyone been to the Statesville East KOA the former Midway campground? We have a 6 year old, so lots of family and kids activities are a plus. Looking for clean, well run and maintained family cam...

The only problem with Stone Mt SP during hot weather is the lack of 50amp power. That means we can't run both a/c's.

We otherwise love Stone Mt. Another really neat SP is New River SP up by Banner Elk. Much cooler due to the altitude, 50 amp power, plus plenty of fishing/rafting.
