Statesville East / I-40 Winston Salem KOA (old midway)

Stone mountain is awesome and getting harder and harder to get in and get certain sites. But all the sites are very big with paved pads. It is normal to have deer come through your site in the evening and morning time. During a certain time of the year there are many butterflies. My wife and daughter called it magical. To us, it beats out any park we have been to, both commercial and not. If you can't enjoy your stay there, you shouldn't be camping.
