Seems to me that Frat Houses have been doing this sort of thing for years. It's not just THIS generation - it's the mentality of Frat houses in general. And, to be truthful, they get away with less now than they did before - gone are the days of folks in high places making things like this disappear to protect the darling boys.
As for the "spoiled, pampered generations" - might want to think WHO made them that way. It was either YOU or YOUR KIDS who brought this generation in.

- ken56ExplorerNarcissistic and self absorbed no rules .... its the few that get all the attention. Sad that these things happen and the majority of the college kids get labeled along with these bone heads. I am sure they will make good politicians.

Some of the worst I've ever seen as a campground host around Moab is from Boy Scouts.
That's a shame. I was involved with the Scouts for a long time and can assure you that is completely contrary to everything the a Scouts stand for. - 2lazy4UExplorerSome of the worst I've ever seen as a campground host around Moab is from Boy Scouts.

I was taught by my parents, take only pictures leave only foot prints. I taught my children to leave a camp site cleaner than we found it.
I tell my grandkids that we take memories away and leave campsites better than when we arrive.
Last sunner my two youngest grandsons and I "policed" the entire campground, putting garbage in trash bags. The ranger saw them working, brought his trailer to load the bags into, then invited them to the ranger station/office, gave them a certificate and a Dairy Queen coupon for a free sundae. Our grandsons want to do this at every cakpground now!
I asked them why. Their reply "It looks good and we feel good for making things better for the next campers. Needless to say, we are really proud of them! - n7bsnExplorerI can tell you there is one difference between the "kids" of today and those of yesterday
The Internet.
The stupid stunts some kids pull today gets massive publicity. The stupid stunts some kid (and sometimes us) pulled in the past didn't usually.
I've worked with massively motivated kids from Millennials, X-Gen and Boomers and there was little real difference
Well, other then Millennials sometimes posted their stupid stunts and preserved the evidence of being young and stupid. - toedtoesExplorer IIISeems to me that Frat Houses have been doing this sort of thing for years.
