We have stayed at Emerald Forest in Trinidad... I think it's about 20 miles or so from Eureka. It's got big redwoods and no issues with our 40ft motorhome.
Nice campground with big full hook up sites. Has kind of a secluded feel in the big redwoods. We stayed there several years ago when our daughter graduated from Humboldt University in Arcata. I would check the weather though, it get's cold there this time of year. They're on the coast so no snow (usually) but lots of ice at times. - cpaulsenExplorerHarris Beach is only approx. 20 miles north of Crescent City.
- magnusfideExplorer IILooks like we'll try Emerald Forest next time.
- Us_out_WestExplorerx3 for Emerald Forest.
We only stayed 1 night on our way up the coast but and the CG is very nice.
