Summer storage in Northern IL?
Hey all, not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but I don't see any that are location specific. I will be pulling my trailer out of winter storage in the next couple weeks and looking for summer storage.
The place I have it now is 3 hours away, otherwise it is ideal year round. Basically a public storage that's 12x50' and under $200/mo. Too bad it's so far from home.
I am looking for a place that can be outside, but covered/canopy. I am in the Chicagoland/NW suburbs and would like to stay within 30-45 minutes. I found a couple places, but it seems prices have creeped up since I looked around in winter. Around $200/mo for a covered outdoor space 10x35. Is that typical? That's more than I am paying for a garage with locks.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Camper is 33' total length bumper pull. Some of the places I have googled mapped and I am not sure that I could even squeeze the camper into some locations, or they are literally on top of every other camper.
Appreciate any help or suggestions. I'd like to keep it covered and sun off of it this summer.
