Sunset Campground In Kings Canyon National Park Closed

Sunset is my favorite, it was full or closed {late in the season} the last few times i have been there

hope they get it all cleaned up

Not to fret, go to Big Meadows in between the parks. Dry camping so water up. Lots of boondocking sites and 4 campgrounds.

According to the article, other campgrounds are also affected. There are dead trees everywhere, due to the bark beetle. And the heavy snow made it impossible for the crews to clear the dead trees until the snow melted.
