I'd rather pay more for boondocking than listen to yet another special-interest group tell me how only they can save me from . . . something really really bad!!!
Anyone who has experience actually boondocking knows that "free" public lands already cost several hundred dollars a year in fees. There are passes for National Parks, National Forests, State Parks, County Parks, Sno Parks . . . and I'm forgetting some others.
As others have said this current bill is already dead (but there are others being born). My point is that I camp to get away from the kind of creeps that are intent on saving me. When the fees go up again I'll pay them.
