I do my taxes on line, and do not have mail forwarded to me over the winter. My retirement provides 1099Rs on line, however Social Security does not. I stop at a SS office & argue with them for 5 - 10 minutes to get them to print a copy for me. As long as you can convince them that you will not be able to receive the mailed copy before filing is due, they will reluctantly provide a copy.
