For starters, RGV means Rio Grande Valley, which is not really a Valley, but that is another story. Basically, it is the southernmost part of Texas near the Mexican border. I have stayed in parks with full hookups but few amenities for as low as $135/month. Most are double that or more. It rained this summer, so the mosquitoes and little black bugs are bad. The usual windy conditions have not started to blow them away yet. For those, like me, who are coming down early, bring your bug spray.
