The Gorge Amphitheater and Wildhorse Campground

We just got back from a trip to The Gorge Amphitheater, and it was amazing, the backdrop for the stage is a really amazing view of the Columbia River and the surrounding terrain. We stayed at the Wildhorse Campground which is only open for Concerts. Its a couple miles away they provide a shuttle bus to and from the concert. There's several wineries in the area to do wine tasting, etc. There's a hike to the grass seating area from the drop off point, I'd guess 3/4 of a mile each way.

  • Thanks for the info about the Gorge, been looking at going there to a concert and camp ..
  • Who did you see? We're in WA but live in Nebraska, I saw there was going to be a great concert.
  • Wow, at $100/night, just for the camping, I'd hope they would provide transport
  • I've lived here almost all my life and never seen it in person. Thanks for the great pics.
  • Looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing, otherwise would've never known about it. Had to Google the location in Washington state. Definitely going to be included as a West coast stop. Just need to match it up with a good concert.
