Roosevelt Arch- entrance to Yellowstone Park, Gardner Mt
An interesting one to list. Of course many think of Old Faithful or Yellowstone falls as something to post, but there are so many historic photographs of Roosevelt Arch. For many years early in the parks history, as the primary entrance into Yellowstone, this was the first thing visitors saw when they went to Yellowstone. Nice pick! - hermyExplorerRoosevelt Arch- entrance to Yellowstone Park, Gardner Mt
- Jim_ShoeExplorerThought of another one in Cincinnati, but you don't want to visit. Its official name is the "Fort Washington Way" but the locals call it the Third Street Distributor. And some other names that would be deleted on here. It collects both eastbound, westbound, northbound and southbound traffic from Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky onto about a mile long multilane expressway and "distributes" them to I-75, I-71 and I-471. The problem occurs when most people entering from the south are headed north and vice versa. And they all have to cross 6 lanes of traffic to their exit in that one mile. I haven't driven on it in years since I retired and no longer have to go to or from downtown in rush hours.

I could name more, including around the world, and I have seen all of these and know them very well, along with many that have been mentioned before. More than a few that have been mentioned I'd like to see one day. - travelnutzExplorer IIMichigan Stadium - Ann Arbor, Michigan. - The Big House -
The largest stadium in North America and 2nd largest in the world. North Korea has the largest today. Crowds at Michigan Stadium of over 115,000 and all on one level have attended. There was 105,491 who attended an outdoor hockey game in 2014. There's not even an upper deck on the stadium (yet) which would increase the capacity to over 150,000 or close to 200,000 (documented) and dwarf any other stadium now built or planned. The footings are already poured in place for it and have been for years now. Not if but when! An attendance streak of over 100,000 fans attending every game that continues yet today which had started back on November 8, 1975. Way over 200 million since then alone. We have attended football games there and it's a real mind boggling sea of people like can be seen no where else! Check it out! - VeebyesExplorer II
