The new Acadia Schoodic Campground
Has anyone camped at the new campground near Winter Harbor? Having camped there for years at Ocean Wood, and still missing it, I'd love to hear how the new campground and facilities are.

We haven't camped there, but we live very close by and have hiked some of the new paths and have driven through the campground. The facilities are very nice. Many of the sites have power and water. I think there may be some full hookup sites as well. The park was first come, first served this fall, but when they reopen next year sites will be reservable. It was pretty busy in September even though it had just opened, so I suspect reservations will be a very good idea for next summer.
