The snowbird crowd is ageing
Seems to me in Texas the snowbird crowd is ageing, most are over 70 and many over 80. Every year more are too sick or old to make the trip and many have passed on. There are very few younger snowbirds...

Not to quibble, but it is generally agreed that World War 2 ended after Japan surrendered, somewhere around August 14, 1945. Germany surrendered a few months earlier.

But one war. You can end yours in May if you like, but don't tell the folks in the Pacific that it was over in May.
