I'm not at all sure that being called a "Baby Boomer" or a "War Baby" has much to do with snow birding, although I do suspect that those of us (like me born in 1944) on the cusp probably don't like being identified as the "other".
That said, this year is my first at snow birding although I've been doing 4-5 month cross country trips for the last two years. Have to admit after looking at the expected high at home of 15°F today and 1' of new snow, I'm pretty pleased with sunshine & 62°F here in southern Arizona along the Colorado River! Buckskin Mountain State Park is about 1/2 filled, with the average age pretty close to mine.
