The snowbird crowd is ageing
Seems to me in Texas the snowbird crowd is ageing, most are over 70 and many over 80. Every year more are too sick or old to make the trip and many have passed on. There are very few younger snowbirds...

Well I am 46, DW is 57 (cradle robber) and we are hoping to give the Winter Texan lifestyle a try at least for a few months in the next 5 years or so. We own a radio station and hopefully will be marketable to sell at that time. At the very least, I could do my morning show from down south with good internet and DW could do the books and some phone sales for the station too down south. We can't take the North Dakota winters much anymore as they are starting to resemble the bad ones we had in the 70's (I am a pansy). Watching the current situation in our country unfold, I am not getting my hopes up too high any more for the future.
