While the wife and I did our first snowbird trip last winter we did what some here are saying, moved around quite a bit, not staying long anywhere. That was for a reason as we wanted to see several campgrounds and areas. I guess we'll find out what it's like to be in one park for more than a week as we have a month reserved. It will be interesting since our 20 years of RVing have all been "on the move". I suspect that we'll take part in more park activities as a result.
One thing we did realize, and I think most would agree, moving around often costs a LOT more. I think finances are going to rule what and how snowbirding takes place for the financially pinched. (It probably did for decades before us and certainly will in the future.) Those boomers that really want to snowbird will find a way to do it. It may look a bit different with different activities, but where there's a will, there's a way.
