The snowbird crowd is ageing
Seems to me in Texas the snowbird crowd is ageing, most are over 70 and many over 80. Every year more are too sick or old to make the trip and many have passed on. There are very few younger snowbirds...

Just finished reading the entire thread, not that I remember it all:) We've been RVing a little over 25 years but had a converted van in the EU long before when we where young. We love the outdoor experience but even after being retired for 10 years you're not going to entice me from Canada down snowbirding with all these stories.:) 3-4 years ago we visited my in laws in Apache Junction, it WAS a good time but I can't see going back to the same place every year like they did, for a week maybe but who's going to drive all that way for a week? We might do some cross country trips in the us but not in winter.
