The snowbird crowd is ageing
Seems to me in Texas the snowbird crowd is ageing, most are over 70 and many over 80. Every year more are too sick or old to make the trip and many have passed on. There are very few younger snowbirds...

Good question. I think the COE reservation system has been privatized, making it difficult to pin down the responsible person. When I inquired why the "Internet" showed the park as being full, when half the spots were empty, I was told, "The lady that does the Internet is not here today". Probably off subject for this topic.
I tell you what, now that I reached the magic age of 62, my cost per COE night drops in half or so. It is even more important not to get messed around by front desk personel or volunteers saving sweetheart reservations on an under the table basis. That's not right. I need to know the ins and outs to determine when an individual is turning me away, when there's tons of open spaces being saved for their wink, wink, friends that are not there on a first come, first served basis. Thanks, any help!
