Here's my experience with snow birders and what I've seen. I watched my parents and that generation retire in the 1970's and 80's. The RV and then often bought park models. Their areas of choice were places like RGV in Texas, Zepher Hills in Florida and some Arizona locations. Most of those parks now have populations of late 70's and 80 year old's. My generation, now retiring in our early to mid 60's have taken a different path. What I'm seeing my age group do is more traveling around to different parks rather than just snow birding to one location. When we do decide to choose one location it is in a newer, more upscale RV Resort type park. In our situation we have hundreds of 60 year old's in our park and in all the parks we visit while traveling. Don't see many late 70 and 80 yr. old's traveling around to various parks like we do.
