thousand Islands or lake George ny
Looking to go to one of these areas in a couple weeks. Looking for input. Maybe some kayaking. Not into fishing. Wondering which is better. Thanks

Cedar Point is our favorite spot in the Thousand Islands, but tough to get a site this time of year w/o reservations. Have heard good things about Higley Flow SP as well.
Otherwise, I would skip Lake George and go to the central ADK's. Old Forge Camping Resort is good if you want hookups. Lots of kayaking on the Moose River, Fulton Chain, and many small lakes like Nick's Lake. Or for SP's, Lewey Lake is great, and Rollins Pond/Fish Creek is a big kayaking spot.
