- MinnCamperExplorerWe stayed at the Straits Michigan state park in St. Ignace last summer and loved it. We could bike to town and rode our bikes down to the boats and took them over to the island.
- FloridaNative49ExplorerMany thanks.
- summerhouseExplorerMackinaw Mill Creek Campground is a very nice facility in Mackinaw City that we stay at every visit. It's a nice family park, very clean. We stay in our 38 ft motorhome with plenty of room.
- Kennedy64ExplorerYes, I have stayed there. It was about 15 yrs ago and we had a tent. It was nothing special to write home about, pretty "woodies" if I remember correctly but we had no issues with the CG or site.
We have also stayed at the KOA in St. Ignance, (not sure if its still a KOA, its a CG just West of the bridge on US-2). That was a really nice, clean CG. Both are easy for getting around to all the "tourist" stops in the UP.
If I had to choose between the two, I would pick the KOA.
