Have never been to Tims Ford so looking for a good spot. I was looking at site 29 in Fairview Campground. Wondering if anyone has camped there. Is it possible to use satellite there? Would be interes...

Just got back from there. Its a great CG but for sat. you might want in the center area towards the bath house as its less blocked by trees. Site 29 will be blocked by trees to the south. The sites are generous in size and if you have a bigger rig then Fairview is the only one that can accommodate 30ft. or longer. The main CG is very tight. I was on site 70 and I saw a few folks with the dish set out. You can not get ANY OTA T.V. and you will likely be in roaming for cell service.
