Correct on both. We've been guided to our site in many instances - that's fine. Even if the guide helps us back in to our site, DW still is on the 2-way radio. I listen to her and ignore the guide, and here's why - many years ago I was backing in to a site and, like a good soldier, was taking my cues from the guide. When we were all done our TT doorsteps led right down to a gigantic puddle. Mr. Guide didn't see anything wrong with that.
On edit: yes, I repositioned the TT without his "help."
