We haven't crossed at Nuevo Progreso for about 3 years. But even then the beer and scripts were still pretty cheap but some of the other items being sold were getting high priced. The DW wanted a couple large painted outside pots and we ended up getting them cheaper just across the border in Texas.
I agree with others reference much worse crime ridden places right here in the good old U.S. of A.
But then again, if I am going to be the victim of a violent crime attempt I would rather it occur in the U.S. because I almost always have my friends with me (Smith & Wesson).
