To Canadian Snowbirds: Prescription medications

I was wondering what you all do about prescription medications. When we crossed the border, for the first time we were asked about prescription meds. This is the first year I've had anything of note...

From the link posted above:

"It is advised that you travel with no more than personal use quantities, a rule of thumb is no more than a 90 day supply."

Note: A "rule of thumb" is not a law or limitation.
