Those are very nice parks, but our favorite has always been Pleasure Point State park. Its just north of the Dam area on La. side of lake. Only the locals know/use it so its very quiet with sites always available. Several sites are lake fronts All water and electric. Modern toilets and cabins. The most beautiful views of the lake with amazing sand beach.
