TR: Kings Canyon/Sequoia

Thanks for sharing! It is good to see that you both are still going "out there" and also that there are so many undamaged sequoias left after the fires.

Really good TR. It is a great park and not visited much compared to Yosemite. They have some problems with their forest management, but are starting to figure it out.

Been MANY a year since I was in Kings Canyon.

Last time we were trying to have Lunch and the Yellow Jackets were being insistent ......
Took a hotdog, cut it up into tiny pieces and placed them on a plate 20 yards away.

Not only did we get to enjoy our lunch in peace but we had entertainment as we watch those Yellow Jackets swoop in grab a piece of hotdog and attempt to go air borne. If load was too heavy they would nibble at the edges and try again. Eventually nibbling off just enough to get air borne with Max Payload.
