Transfer of Federal Lands to the States

Even though there is strong opposition, people who want to transfer federal lands to the states are not giving up. Here is a a recent article in the Casper, Wyoming newspaper written by a Wyoming Legislator. If you look on the Legislature's website, you will see that his occupation is listed as Geologist/Mineral Exploration. Many of the members of the transfer movement in Wyoming are affiliated with the oil, gas and coal industry. That pretty much says it all. Folks, YOUR federal lands are under attack!
