I'm getting that mining claim in real soon. There are limited areas of BLM land where you can claim and title rights are in moratorium at present (and are never coming back). It's still possible to lease land for mining, though. There are restrictions as to use and minerals/materials are listed.
Salt is one of them on the list and I thought, besides the organic salt roadside shop, I'd erect the "New Mt. Rushmore", made of salt. Imagine this: A 100' high, floodlit mountain of pure white salt with the busts of Nixon, Reagan, and the two Bushes. Tickets sold nightly, lol.
Edit: Also selling bobble heads of Cruz, Trump, Harry Reid, Rubio, etc. Heck, maybe I even can name it the Trump mine.
