You may also want to double check your route from Butte to Glacier. We went to Missoula and north along the east side of Flat Head Lake.
Also...IF you can hang in Cody for a few days, plan on taking the toad to Red Lodge, MT and enjoying the Beartooth/Chief Joseph Hwys. Irma's is a must stop in Cody too. I 2nd Buffalo Bill SP, btw. We stayed at the CG farthest from Cody and really enjoyed it. It's right on the Shoshone River with access to the river for fishing. You might check fishing regulations though. It seems there are limits to when and size.
