We've stayed at Sounds of the Sea a couple of times. We would return. Right next to it is Emerald Forest if memory serves me correct. My daughter & her family stayed there & liked it. Further south, Mad River is another nice facility. We first stayed at both it & Sounds of the Sea when they were first constructed. RV's were different than. (We had what we understood to be the largest Class C available. A 26'er. And certainly no slides.) Parks constructed in those eras can seem somewhat lacking compared to newer facilities.
