Glad you enjoyed our wonderful state. Recheck the height of you FW as I think you will find it closer to twelve feet six inches. I don't think I have ever seen a long FW with slide under eleven feet. Algo, clearances are always measured at the shortest spot. So arched tunnels or bridges it is at the white line.
As you have discovered, traveling without a busy itinerary is very fun and enjoyable. I've been traveling like that four years and can hardly wait for retirement so I can get rid of that darn back home date.
