Trip report and lessons learned

Great post, thanks for sharing. I totally agree that the best vacations are those that don't have a plan per se, in the middle. I love going somewhere, and the only thing that is constant/planned is when I leave. Other than that, depending on what we feel like when we get up and moving, that's what we do.

I also like the shade/trees better than the sun and sand. Wife and I have always felt that way.

I can relate to your entire post. Glad you had a great time, and thanks for the lessons learned. There's some good nuggets there to remember.
