I'd believe it.

We used to really cherish catching what we always assumed were native/wild Golden trout up above 10,000 feet in the High Sierras on our backpacking trips. Someone finally rained on our parade when they told us the DFG stocked the alpine lakes with Golden Trout via helicopters. :(
