By the way...I would have said the same as you before our travels...now, not so much. Of course west coast has the grandest landscapes, but I like home too. I never would have thought that hardwood forests or a salt water marsh were that big of a deal, but we really missed them.
Anyway, I don't care to argue place. We've definitely changed our perspective. ALL places have something special. My bad for starting the thread off otherwise. It was meant lighthearted, but that's not easy to get across online.
It's all good fun. I go back east and south for work a lot and there's some cool stuff there too. I just miss the wide open spaces and mountains when I'm back that way, and I get lost easily cause all I can ever see are trees. :h
