when is the best time of the year to go to texas? late september early oct.don't want realy hot weather

- To avoid hot weather stay away during August and September. We can get heat waves during June and July but they are not predictable far in advance. To avoid cold weather stay away from mid-December through February.
- I don't actually RV (yet) but am making plans. I live north of San Antonio and have for nearly 30 years. I tell folks the best months of the year weather-wise are April and October/November. But anytime from October thru April is mostly fair weather. We do get freezing weather on occasion, but rarely above 80 degrees during that time-frame. Happy travels.
