Tuolumne Meadows Campgrounds is closed for the season.

And snow at Yosemite National Park is forecast today. Winter is most beautiful at Yosemite Valley. Not just because of the super tender and delicious lamb chop at Ahwahnee Hotel (now Majestic?).

I've seen a few open hoods going uphill at Tioga -- and also steaming brakes. Well, it always smell of burning brakes and rubber in Tioga on busy summers.
