Typhoon Lagoon

Reviews please on this water park. Been to Blizzard beach a few times but never Typhoon Lagoon.

TIA.
  • Big problems there from e Coli to other safety concerns. They had to close the park to refurbish. At $62 a person, I'd say go elsewhere.
  • ^^^ That's old news

Like any other waterpark, they stand a chance to have "stuff" show up here and there...

Out of the 2, we prefer Typhoon lagoon. To us, it seams less congested..
  • We like Typhoon Lagoon. Never been to Blizzard Beach though.

Wasn't that like 15-20 years ago??

We were there last fall. We've never been to BB, so we can't compare, but we enjoyed it. There are a few tube slides in one area that we thought were wildly disappointing (long waits for absurdly short runs), but the other slides and the wave pool were enjoyable. My only comment is that the wave pool is VERY strong. Don't be caught off guard with little ones or weaker swimmers.
  • We enjoyed both but neither really stands out. We're hoping to go in the next month or two if the weather warms up enough.

That said, we WAY loved Aquatica which is Sea World's water park a 100 times more than Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.
