- jffnkrnExplorerGot it ! ! !
Reserved a spot at Sante Fe park in San Diego for 4 nights, half price with Passport America and the second 3 or 4 nights at Koa in Acton. Never stayed in a KOA, so we will see how it goes! ! !
Thanks!!! - KaranavoreExplorerTwo RV parks to the east of downtown LA: East Shore RV Park in Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas, and a KOA on the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona. Both are fairly close off the I-10.
Then there is the OC: Anaheim Resort or Orangeland. Both of these are close off the I-5.
If you are up for it, all these parks are by a Metrolink train station. (Commuter rail.) Take the train to LA Union Station, then the Metro Red Line (subway) to Universal City. (Your Metrolink ticket may cover transfer fare to Red Line.) No driving hassle. - bikendanExplorerNothing close.
most recommend Valencia RV Village, north of Universal City.
It's also just a little west of Six Flags.
better get reservations quick, if they have anything available.
Kinda of late to looking for campsites now, for summertime in California! - Dick_AExplorerMoved from General RV'ing forum.
