UpRiver RV Park- Ft. Myers, Florida

Any one have any comments on UpRiver RV Resort by Fort Myers, Florida?
Wondering about size of the sites- enclosed dog run- paved roads & paved sites??

Many thanks,
  • It's a nice, clean park. We have stayed there several times. The only problem we have, is it's not close to what we go to Ft Myers for, which is the beach. And it doesn't see to have much in the way of restaurants or entertainment.
This is in North Ft Myers and is on the Caloosahatche River.
  • We stayed at Upriver last January. It was a nice place to stay, only thing I did not like was how close and tight everything was. We had a 32' Class C and it barely squeezed into the space. It was very clean. People were nice and the location was good, but, we are going to look for another place this year.

    Would I recommend ? Yes

We are a Pet-Friendly Resort. All pets must be registered at time of check in, any additional pet over 1 will be additional charge. You are require to pick up after your pet and dispose of in proper containers, not recycle bins, canal or in the wooded areas. Pets must be on a leash (max. of 6 feet) at all times, except when they are in the fenced dog area. Do not let your dog defecate on other residents' property or trash bags. Pets are not to be tied, or confined in a crate outside the unit or left inside unit with door open when you are not present. Any violators will be asked to leave the premises/resort.

From the pictures: It has paved roads.
It is located on the north side of Ft. Myers and is what I would describe as "semi-rural." NOT in town, but not too far out.

    Hope this helps.
