I guess the photos could be taken in a misleading way, like angling the shot to exclude detractors to one site or another, but I'd rather have an idea of what the sites look like, rather than nothing at all.
Trying to camp in Custer SP last summer, the site I had reserved sight unseen (no pictures), the description said mostly level. HAH ... maybe the parking pad was level, but you had to back in going up up a VERY STEEP hill, and there were trees about 12ft apart marking the sides of the site. Couldn't see the site at all with Google, tree cover.
Meanwhile, back in Michigan, no tree cover problems here - Google shows the folks here packed in like sardines...
