If I understand you correctly, it's the hypothetical examples I've given in my satire that suggest why the rules are in place and not me, personally that causes a need for the rules.
I definitely agree with the rules in place and abide by them. If everyone was like me, we probably wouldn't need the rules in the first place. I believe in practicing ethical behavior and treating others with respect. I realize others don't so I agree the rules are necessary; but not "because" of me.
