Who would be able to stay inside their RV for two weeks?

Fair enough, and safe enough.

Not sure why anybody outside of Vermont would consider this a plus. So you live next door in New Hampshire and want to go to a Vermont state park. But you can’t sit outside your RV In a lawn chair to enjoy the weather? Why would anyone do that? Who are you going to infect or be infected by? This seems to be a sure way to only have Vermonters use the parks.

A totally idiotic policy but not surprising given that Vermont was the first to deem that a retail establishment such as Walmart could sell groceries and pharmacy goods, but not other items such as electronics, clothing, etc. They pulled that out long before Michigan which seems to have received all the press.

The village idiot here in VA along with the one in PA which I have followed both closely, have certainly pulled draconian edicts that made no sense from their rear regions too.

The word of the times is "safe" and the new buzz term is "keeping people safe". I think most folks would rather have a job/income than a guarantee of being 100% protected in the name of safety but that's just a personal opinion. Its a lot different when the folks making the decision for those not having an income, still have their income, and that is the case across the board 100%. A couple more weeks of economic stagnation and it would of behooved you to have hoarded ammo a few weeks back, as opposed to toilet paper and cases of pork & beans.

Everyone should be appreciative of the states who have people in control with a modicum of common sense that are taking measures to get the economic ball rolling again sooner rather than later. That may end up being the saving grace for those in the states managed by morons that are apparently going to stay locked down or impose senseless policies until the cows come home, or they can guarantee 100% safety, which they can not do regardless.

And what about the Tent Campers??? Or what if you need a dump station - with our “B” we need to visit one every 3-5 days.... After 50 years we moved away from our farm to escape the idiots making the rules and laws in Vermont.

The campgrounds (these are private campgrounds, not the state park ones that aren't opening for awhile) are only opening for seasonal campers with reservations, not transients, per the report.

If you're planning on being a seasonal camper in a tent, well...that's a bit unusual, to say the least. Likewise, I assume seasonal RVers generally would have sites with sewer hook-ups or periodic honey wagon service.

In the context of a seasonal camper, making the campground their home for several months, the two-week quarantine makes slightly more sense. Whether or not it's excessive or an overreaction is something that no doubt reasonable people could disagree on, of course, but it's not like they're suggesting you come for the weekend in order to never set foot outside your RV during that time.

yikes that tough, CT state campgrounds is 6-11. I always thought we were the leader on keeping state campgrounds closed.
