Virginia Camping in January
Any suggestions for areas, campgrounds and attractions to visit in VA in January? We like natural, historical and outdoor attractions. Thank you!

Since you mentioned "historical" do be sure to take in Colonial Williamsburg in the winter, particularly before Jan. 1 while they are still putting on the special programming for the holidays. The programs and the way the area is lit up at night is positively fantastic. MUCH less crowded than during the summer. Enjoy & safe travels.
