Just saw a news article on funding of Washington SP. State funding has gone down 91% since 2007, with user fees going up 117% in the same period.
The two budget proposals currently being pushed calls for either an increase in funding, or another large cut.
The state parks commission says the cut will result in more layoffs and further increases in users fees
