Summer = Washington and Canada. At the north end of Whidby Island is Deception Pass State Park. Be sure to make reservations as they have limited larger sites. You can take the ferry at Mukilteo and drive up to the end. Don't miss Mt St Helens. We stayed at Columbia River RV Park in Woodland WA and drove to Mt St Helens. Washington is better for summer. Texas summers are brutally hot.
