Watch CBC videos / shows from USA?

CBC seems to have some fairly strong geolocator software. I rarely try to do this but I would like to know if there is some ad hoc way to fool the CBC servers into thinking I'm in Canada? Or even NOT ad hoc if it's not too expensive.

We downstream TV shows all the time here from the internet... Just finished watching last nights CBS run for NCIS LOS ANGELES on MOPVIDEO

Doing this on the road eats up a bunch of data however but works good here at the house internet connection...

    MOPVIDEO.com/TV-shows/
    STREAM2WATCH.me/LIVE-TV/
    WATCH-TVSERIES.net
    COUCHTUNER.me

MOPVIDEO is the best for us..
As usual do not download anything or click on things it says you need etc.. I imagine they are full of viruses...

These downstreams for USA TV SHOWS are after the original have been aired... Doesn't bother me abit if it is 3-mins delay or even the next day...

This is where I go when I want to watch my favorites and something else is on TV like football or NASCAR etc...

    I don't have DVR's here

    CBC not CBS!

Easy now...it was an honest mistake...

You can fool CBC by using a vpn service on your computer, you can pick any country you like including canada.

Do a search for vpn services, there are many. You can get a free trial for many and see if it works well for you.

There are many other ways as well, too numerous to describe and in many cases too complicated.

I was just saying there are other ways to watch TV SHOWS for FREE - maybe they will work for the OP just as easy... Have no idea how CBC works...
  • Have you tried googling what you want to do? Our son watches live USA Pro baseball games from a european server on his TV (live streaming)for free, so I am sure that it is possible!
  • Yes, I've tried googling it and didn't come up with anything useful. I have UNBLOCKUS but that only works for Netflix - doesn't have any effect on CBC.

I guess it's going to have to be a VPN. Anyone want to recommend one?
  • There are a couple web sites that you can use to go through to "de-country"ize your IP. Example so you can watch BBC shows from the US.

Do a search for "TV EXPAT" and find one that works for the CBC
  • Try Global .... a better newscast as far as we
are concerned, or CHCH from Hamilton.
