Watkins Glen, NY which campground to choose for next summer

I have narrowed it down for next summer to either Clute Park Campground or Watkins Glen State Park. I have read through some of the reviews on both campgrounds, Clute park campground, has full h...

The reviews were from Aug, I am not into Nascar. Do you know when race weekend is... I will defiantly avoid it!

August 7, 2016 is the NASCAR race. But the Glen is used for other race events also.
