The campground is in the business to charge for its sites. By that, my logic would say they would not unless they are completely full and you arrive early for your reservation.
I think we actually asked if we had reservations for the following day and arrived in the middle of the night, are we allowed to overnight in the overflow and were told no. - Mich_FExplorer

Disney is in the business of making money. Their cheapest full hookup site is $74 a night. I believe those sites go up to $139 per night "in season".
I can't believe they'd let anyone overnight park for free on their property. - ependydadExplorer

Yes fort wilderness and thanks for the info. I know Walmart does not allow overbite but Cracker Barrel does. Does anyone know of any other places even considered downtown disney they have a huge parking lot.
I'm not positive that Cracker Barrel in that area would allow it. I believe that Walmart doesn't due to local ordinances. You may want to call them ahead of time.
As for Downtown Disney- I think that would depend on when you arrive and how big your RV is. I had a hard enough time finding parking for my dually when they were busy (Christmas weekend). - JamesBrExplorerThe campground is in the business to charge for its sites. - rolling_rhodaExplorerA good portion of Downtown Disney parking is closed for their big construction project. Not sure if rv parking is allowed there anyway.
- michelbExplorerWe asked if they allowed overnighting at the FW overflow / trailer lot and we were told no. (we weren't actually trying to do it, we were just curious). I believe there might even be a sign indicating that it's not permitted.
- hammer21661ExplorerIf you want to stay in a pl somewhere you gotta go to the flying j where ever they may be. The ordinances don't allow it there.
- nancyjerryExplorerThat would be a slippery slope if FW, DW, or Orlando let RVers, college kids etc, sleeping in public parking lots.
There may be a few but wouldn't count on it. - rv2goExplorer IICan't remember the year, but we spent the night back in the late 80's.
